Pink Watch Better Marker Tutorial for Procreate

Hello! In today's tutorial we are going to draw a fashion watch using premium brushes from my Better Marker Brush set for Procreate. Before we begin, please download the rest of the tutorial materials. You'll get the tutorial PDF, sketch file and palette swatch for this activity.

If you're ready, let's begin! 

Step 1: Let's begin by creating a sketch of our composition using 6B or Peppermint Brush.  Lower the opacity of this layer and then lock it.

On a new layer, add the paper texture using Freya Fine Paper No. 1. Then on another layer, start to add the base colors using Freya Wet Marker No. 13. Leave some areas white to act as highlights. It will give your art more depth.

Step 2: Create gold tones using Freya Wet Marker No. 16. Use varying hades of yellow and orange to achieve this effect. Remember to keep some areas white to act as highlight. You can also add color reflections by adding a dark pink or red color in some areas. It will appear like it's reflecting some of the color from the strap. Use the clipping mask for this layer so it's easier to color within bounds.

Step 3: On another layer, continue to add more color using Freya Dry Marker No. 1 to deepen the appearance of crevices in the leather. For the watch face, create the illusion of glass by using Freya Dry Marker No. 6 and some yellow and light blue color.

Step 4: Add in the final touches using Freya Calligraphy Marker No. 1 and Freya Marker No. 6 for the backdrop.
